  1. Women Development Centre (WDC) required staff for a period of 3 years from Feb 2022 to  Feb 2025 onwards. Project is financially supported by KINDERMISSIONSWERK & will be implemented in Guwahati, Assam.

Staff requirement:

Programme Manager (1 no) – Rs.35000/- p/m
  • Qualification-Post Graduate in Urban Development, MSW, Social Science, Children and Women Rights. 
  • A minimum of three to five years’ experience in Urban Programming including Children and Women Rights
  • Knowledge and understanding of Child Rights and Gender empowerment are essential
Child Rights Capacity Building and Advocacy Manager /Coordinator (1 no) Rs. 25000/- p/m. 
  • Master’s in Social Work with specialisation in child rights and gender.
  •  A minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in Child rights and gender 
  • Knowledge and understanding of Child Rights and Gender and advocacy.
Documentation Officer (1no) Rs. 25000/-p/m
  • qualification – Post Graduation / Graduation with experience of 2 – 3 years
  • Additional qualifications are desired
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in Urban Programming
  • Knowledge and understanding of Child Rights and Gender empowerment are

Field Officer (1no) Rs. 30000/-p/m
  • Minimum qualification of Graduation
  • Additional qualifications are desired

Monitoring Evaluation Accounting and Learning Manager/ Coordinator (1 no) – Rs.30000/- p/m
  • Qualification – Post Graduation with MEAL experience of 2 – 3 years
  • Additional qualifications are desired

Job responsibility of Programme Manager:

  • Overall responsibility for implementation of the project and efficient achievement of all
  • the deliverables in the targeted geography (selected urban slums in Guwahati)
  • Lead the team and enhance their approach in implementing the programme qualitatively with accountability to the communities as well as the donor/s
  • Formation of women, youth and children groups and educate on rights of specific groups
  • Design and achieve capacity building of women, youth and children
  • Facilitate / Lead the studies stipulated within the programme
  • Engage with line departments with regard to women, youth, children as well as skill
  • building, urban livelihoods

Job Responsibilities of the Documentation Officer:

  • Understanding of Real Time Documentation frameworks, tools and techniques
  • Support in identifying most vulnerable children, youth, women and HHs in the slums as per the programme deliverables
  • Knowledge and Practice of Process Documentation
  • Design and maintain a Real Time Dashboard
  • Support, Guide and Accompany Documentation of Case Studies, Good Practices
  • Develop MIS for the project – Participate actively in training programs organized under the project

Job Responsibility of Child Rights Capacity Building and Advocacy Manager /
Coordinator:

  • Conduct baseline surveys and Child Poverty Vulnerability Mapping in the slum communities
  • Identify children’s vulnerabilities in an age-appropriate and gender-specific manner. 
  • Build capacity on forming children’s groups and developing child friendly spaces.
  • Strengthen capacities of field coordinators regarding child rights.
  • Build capacities of urban duty bearers with regard to child rights and their implementation. 
  • Help field coordinators to develop children and youth champions. 
  • Closely monitor growth of children and youth groups and their understanding of child rights. 
  • Participate actively in training programs organized under the project. 
  • Support monitoring, evaluation and accountability regarding implementation of child rights in the slums. 

Job Responsibility of Field Coordinator:

  • Conduct baseline surveys and Child Poverty Vulnerability Mapping in the slum communities
  • Identify most vulnerable HHs in the slums as per the programme deliverables
  • Visit individual households within the project villages and work closely with community
  • members. – Mobilize children, youth and women to form CBOs and strengthen existing CBOs; – Educate self about government entitlements and eligibility criteria. Disseminate this
  • knowledge to communities and empower and motivate them to advocate the government for receipt of these schemes. – Closely monitor livelihood activities among the slum communities
  • Participate actively in training programs organized under the project

Job Responsibility of Monitoring Evaluation Accounting and Learning Manager/ Coordinator:

  • Design and conduct baseline surveys and Child Poverty Vulnerability Mapping in the slum communities
  • Support in identifying most vulnerable children, youth, women and HHs in the slums as per the programme deliverables
  • Develop and maintain MEAL framework for the project on Urban slums
  • Design and maintain a Real Time Dashboard
  • Closely monitor livelihood activities among the slum communities
  • Conduct mid-term and end term evaluations
  • Participate actively in training programs organized under the projectApp
