COVID 19 awareness and vaccination program

Women Development Centre in collaboration with District Administration   and Seajuli MPHC conducted the COVID 19 awareness and vaccination program. Total 210 poor marginalized temporary workers in tea garden, daily wage earners and migrants returnees were vaccinated on 21st August 2021.in Moridirgha village   Venue- Bhabari ME school

The program was supported by Arise Foundation through NEWRaN Project. Ms. Bhagyawati Bhuyan the project director Women Development Centre introduced the team and briefed the objectives of the vaccination on behalf of director sr. Betsy.

Dr. Naruttom Borah, Sanjay kr. Sah accountant cum ABPM, Biju Mili, Ranjan Dolay MPN, Rina Saikia ANM, Jayanti kujur, ANM and Nawami Ganak, the ASHA workers was present and served the community by taking risk during the covid pandemic.

Chandrajit Pegu along with sanju Singh our staff  felicitated the team and extended gratitude to everyone for the support and cooperation.

The awareness and vaccination campaign will continue for remaining 5 villages namely- Bhabari, Silingbasti, Pratapgarh, Lalpani dirghapathar and Akorabasti next week. Total 1150 Person’s will be vaccinated during the program.
